Seiko introduced limited Hello Kitty Edition Watches in Japan

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry about this. I still loves me Seiko but did they really need to make hello kitty watches? Seriously, go over to akihabaranews and check them out. Not the worst watch designs I've ever seen, but why oh why did it have to be hello kitty.

"Sure there are many Hello Kitty watches available on the market but few of them are as elegant as Seiko’s one! Lukia, the “luxury” women watch division from Seiko is proud to welcome two new limited edition Hello Kitty Watches with the “Pink Gold” SSVR080 and the Black SSVR081. The first model will be limited to only 2,500 units and sold at around 58,000 Yen, while the second one will only be limited to only 1,500 units and also sold at 58,000 Yen. Both models are waterproof (10 bar) and comes with an elegant “Hello Kitty” inspired signed box."
